The Transitions Healthy Sight Awards program.


Eligibility


To be eligible for nomination into the Transitions® Healthy Sight Awards program, each Eyecare Professional (ECP) location must meet the following criteria:

  • They must be an independent, registered, Canadian ECP office that has a total of 10 office locations or less
  • They must have a minimum of 15% Transitions sales
  • They must agree to have sales data from lab reports shared with Transitions Optical

 

Weighting/Criteria for judging


30% SALES GROWTH
Eyecare Professional locations must have had a minimum of 15% sales growth year over year and have at least 15 percent Transitions sales share.*
*Sales numbers must be shared with Transitions to confirm eligibility.

30% MARKETING
Eyecare Professional locations must have actively participated in Transitions marketing programs like: Retailer In-store Promotions and Advertising, National Promotions, Transitions Online Marketing Tool (TOM), displaying of current, updated Point-of-Sale (POS) materials**, hold an activated account with Transitions Online Rewards Program (TORP), and continued support and distribution of the Transitions Certificate of Authenticity.
**Pictures of POP placed in office must be provided.

15% COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Nominees must have demonstrated an involvement in promoting healthy sight in its community and education initiatives utilizing various Transitions materials such as: Transitions waiting room video, Healthy Sight for Life Fund brochures, Eye Didn't Know That! and Scholastic materials as well as supported and been involved with provincial and national Associations.***
***Must disclose association involvement for Transitions to verify.

25% EMPLOYEE EDUCATION/TRAINING
Lastly, nominated locations must provide proof that at least 30% of their employees participated in any of the many Transitions Education programs over the past year such as City Tours, Micro-seminar Series, In-Store Trainings, and provincial and/or national association education functions as well as Online Continuing Education.
